Scam! They charge a ridiculous fee for everything! I have funds sitting in my wallet and they refuse to release it to me! I had to pay a security deposit. Now they are claiming my account was inactive. I have to pay $20,000 Usd to have it active again for me to withdraw my funds. They charged me with late fees. I paid over $30k already and still cant get my money. Customer service was not helpful. The amount of money I gave them to try to get my funds out is crazy. They ruined my life.

Beware, high charges when buying or selling. The price you are actually charged is higher than the displayed market price. You also receive lower rate when selling.

I think compare to others platform in japan coincheck is useless too much charge everywhere and you never win the moment you in you lose
A terrible exchange which was hacked and my assets were stolen in 2018. It's still terrible in 2021 and the fees are expensive. There is no benefit in using this exchange. The verification is painful and repeats over and over again. I still have assets stuck in this exchange. There is a better exchange in Japan that doesn't use a web design from the 90s. English support is minimal and it feels like they don't want non Japanese at all. Avoid at all costs. Go use another exchange.
I registered coincheck and deposit 0.008 btc last 2017, and the verification is until now not verify. They said you can only register if you are resident in japan, what the hell.. Give me back my money, you are accepting btc but you not verified me in your wallet. What a scam wallet.. When i chat you you always replied me in Japanese deym.. Your walletbis the worse of all wallet out in playstore,!
